DJ Mr Takse - One of the founding fathers of the Melbourne Funk Scene and widely regarded as the Master of turntable Funk. Initiator of the now famous Coco Butter on Friday nights at the Lounge, Mr Takse draws on his enormous resource of Acid Jazz, Latin and Old School Funk. Currently Mr Takse is enjoyed by Melbourne on his regular Saturday show on Kiss FM.

Metta Bass n’ Breath (Syd) - Currently in New York, these Sydney based hip-hopsters have cemented a loyal following around the country. Metta Bass, signed to Creative Vibes, is a raw fusion of hip hop sounds with the interplay of freestyle rapping and sounds from around the world. Taking part in the national Lino tour with World DMC Champion, DJ Noise, from Denmark in January 1997 has helped give them a national presence.

Fuglemen - The Fuglemen in their literal form, translate into spokesmen of their craft. Rappers Quromistix and Muskrat lead the charge into complex lyrical behaviour with an emphasis on their fabled freestyle techniques. Bass, courtesy of Jeremy Glover, adds the backbone for flavour; sparse kicks, snares and banging hats are Joey Bruno's domain while Ben Timmis fills all and every space with his resonating riffs.
