Orac are one of the newest and freshest electronic acts to emerge from the small but vibrant
Melbourne dance scene. Their music covers a broad spectrum of styles from trancey
house; through electro beat; to improvised, bleepy ambience. Their fully equipped studio
based in the centre of Melbourne is destined to be the origin of some classic tunes and
many fine recordings. Orac are Bruce Gray, Tony Dell'Aera, and Andie Reynolds. They
have all been long term friends who have worked on other projects in Melbourne's music
scene. The development of Orac was therefore an inevitable occurrence, the three finding
a compatability in their mutual love of synthesis and creativity. Orac play live frequently,
with shows ranging from raves, warehouse parties, chill out venues and cafes where the
band provide a unique atmosphere. All their performances are recorded on DAT which
enables the band to accurately chart their progression; release improvised material; or
re-use ideas that were captured during a performance. Their new release "Radiant" is
